MISTM Grid Worksheet
The MISTM Grid combines the time phases and the people involved. When you look at one of the nine (or eighteen) sections formed by the grid, ask the question, “How can I maximize the impact of the experience for this group during this time period?” For example, in Block 3 – Post-field/Senders some ideas might be:
- Provide Senders an article on reentry so they can understand the emotions returning goers experience
- Send a letter to the Senders listing good questions to ask the returning goers
- Be sure each team member sends a personalized thank-you note to each Sender
- Invite the Senders to a party with team members to celebrate the trip
- Inform senders of future mission events/opportunities to leverage any new missions interest they gained through supporting goers and hearing their stories
